Yevgenia Safonova

Gratuated from Irkutsk Regional Culture School as a specialist "director-producer" (class of O.A.Kirianov). Her thesis was "Stage composition based on Leonid Andreev's play "Life if a Man".
After graduation entered St.Petersburg State Theater Academy (class of professor Y.M.Krasovsky). In 2007 graduated from the Academy as a stage director and an actor.
Her diploma project was the production of "Twelve Months" by Samuil Marschak ( State Academic Theater named after Turgenev on Orel). In 2007 with the production of "The Cherry Orchard" directed by Krasovsky and Filimonova participated in the Fourth International Theater Festival in Warsaw, Poland. Her performance of Ranevskaya was awarded the prize for the leading female role. After the festival was invited to direct "The Cherry Orchard" at the Warsaw Theater Academy (Teatr Collegium Nobilium). Opening night - January 2008. In 2008 was invited to join Alexandriysky Theater. Worked as an assistant director for the "Ksenia. History of Love" by V.Levanov ( directed by V.Fokin). In 2010 she directed at the chamber stage of Alexandriysky "Tzars" by Julio Cortázar.
At Theater Pokoleniy is participating in Heiner Muller festival.
